Ecokayak Trip Llançà

The Ecokayak trip is a great way to explore the marvels of the Natural Park of Cap de Creus by sea and land. This is a half a day excursion, designed for nature lovers, adventure seekers or anyone who is simply looking for an escape into the landscapes that have inspired Salvador Dali’s brilliant artworks. There is no requirement for previous experience; however the recommended minimum age of the participants is 15 years or older, bearing in mind that the activity is performed in double sea kayaks. They are stable and ideal for people who have no previous experience, for groups and couples.

The activity starts with warm-up exercises and explanation of kayak paddling technique. Once the dry training is over we enter the kayaks and leave the Llançà bay, heading direction north. While paddling along the picturesque coastline we will make several short stops, discovering some of the most emblematic spots of the zone like Cala Bramant cave, Cap Ras or Garbet bay. Along the way we will see where the famous vineyards of region meet the sea. We will discover the incredible wilderness of the Cap de Creus Natural Park and observe how the local life has adapted to the seemingly rough conditions. We will get to meet the legend of these lands – the Tramuntana and make our own story to tell. Half way through we will stop at one of the beautiful beaches like La Mateua and have a picnic. We will go for a short hike, discovering other aspects of the Park and will take some time to relax and swim. Once we return to navigation we paddle between reefs and cavities and return to the starting point.
